Consumer Information...
By Tempe Cropper I went to investigate some information about one of my clothing items which is 100% cotton. Information that I am going to tell you about this clothing item just by looking at its tag is how is the information that is on the tag helpful? If you wash this shirt you have to follow the information on the label, the label say’s: Machine wash warm, Wash with like colours. Only non- chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low. Steam iron medium. This information is helpful because for this shirt to stay in its original form it has to be well kept and whenever you wash it, iron it etc. You have to follow the instructions to keep it in good care. Without this information on the label this shirt could be badly damaged. Also on the shirt it says that it is Size 14. This is helpful because if someone was buying this shirt and it didn’t have the size on it they would not know if it would fit them. Also on this shirt, as mentioned earlier on, it is 100% cotton. This is important to put on the label because it would help the person buying it find out what it is made of. Also if someone is allergic to some type of material, they may not know what it is made out of so therefore they cannot buy it as they may get an allergic reaction. It also says in the label that it is made in Bangladesh. This information is helpful because you know where the shirt is from. You can see if the country it was made in is corrupt or if you think that if this shirt is made in this country that it wouldn't be as well made as an Australian made shirt. Also on this shirt it has a brand name which is called Sportage. Sportage is a clothes brand. It is helpful for them to have the brand because then we know what company made this shirt. If we ever want to talk to this company about this shirt we know who to call or if we want to get more pieces of clothing like this shirt than we know what company this shirt is from and we know who to go to. Also on this shirt there is a symbol of a kangaroo. I have researched on this kangaroo, but have not seemed to find what the symbol means. Though I think that the symbol means Australia because below the symbol it says Australian and kangaroos are from Australia. This must mean that it is Australian owned. |
